Country Bear Jamboree Litter

1 Month Old Female
2 lbs

Read my story!

The Country Bear Jamboree is officially getting underway! These little Australian Cattle Dog mix puppies have opened their eyes and discovered one another, which means their days now include plenty of tumbling and rassling with their littermates before heading back to Mama for a meal.

They’re still very young—no teeth yet, and their world currently revolves around the puppy pen they share with Mama—but that world is getting more interesting every day. They’re beginning to move around, interact with one another, and show the first little glimpses of the puppies they’re becoming.

Their mama is an Australian Cattle Dog mix who has been doing a wonderful job caring for her babies. Over the coming weeks, the puppies will reach all sorts of milestones as they begin eating on their own, playing in earnest, exploring beyond their pen, and developing individual personalities. We’ll update their profiles as we learn more about what makes each member of this little jamboree special.

The puppies will be ready to join their adoptive families before Halloween, but you don’t have to wait until then to fall in love. Applications are being accepted now, giving approved adopters the opportunity to be matched with a puppy while the litter continues to grow and prepare for life with their new families. Puppies will be available for adoption throughout Texas through Addicus’ Legacy Dog Rescue, and to approved adopters in CT, VT, NH, NY, NJ, PA, MD, VA, NC, OH, and TN via a trusted transport partner. With fosters across the region and an Austin-area hub, we place dogs rescued from Texas and Mexico with loving foster families throughout the country.

Raising a puppy means training, socialization, patience, playtime, and a little bit of chaos—but you also get the wonderful experience of watching your new best friend grow up right in front of you.

If one of these little country bears has already caught your eye, apply now. The jamboree will be heading to new homes before Halloween! HOW TO APPLY

Please fill out an adoption application and be sure to completely fill in all fields, as our volunteer adoption coordinators will only follow up on completed applications.

Our coordinators will follow up on all the vet and personal references that you provide and then reach out to you to schedule an interview. It may take a few days as we are 100% volunteer based and our wonderful coordinators also have jobs and families. Please be patient and know that we will be in touch!

Our interviews are typically around 30 minutes in length. We will talk about your home, yard, current and past pets, kids, your schedule and what kind of dog you are looking for. If we feel the dog you applied for is not a good fit, we will suggest a different dog for you to consider.
