Summer lovin’ came a little early for six tiny puppies who are already stealing hearts. Sandy Dee, Rizzo, Marty, Frenchy, Zuko, and Kenickie are an irresistible little crew of snuggles, curiosity, and growing puppy personalities, all under the watchful eye of their sweet mama.
These Terrier mix puppies are growing up together in foster care, where their days are filled with the important business of eating, playing, wrestling with siblings, and discovering a little more about the world around them each day. With four girls and two boys in the litter, there’s plenty of personality packed into this pint-sized cast.
And for this litter, we actually know both sides of the family! Mama is a small, scruffy Terrier mix who has done a wonderful job caring for her babies, while Dad appears to be a handsome Boston Terrier mix. With two relatively small parents, we have a little more insight into where these puppies may be headed.
Sandy Dee, Rizzo, Marty, Frenchy, Zuko, and Kenickie are just four weeks old and will be ready to join their adoptive families in time for Halloween. But you don’t have to wait until then to fall in love—applications are being accepted now, giving approved adopters the opportunity to be matched with a puppy before they’re ready to go home.

They will be available for adoption throughout Texas through Addicus’ Legacy Dog Rescue, and to approved adopters in CT, VT, NH, NY, NJ, PA, MD, VA, NC, OH, and TN via a trusted transport partner. With fosters across the region and an Austin-area hub, we place dogs rescued from Texas and Mexico with loving foster families throughout the country.

Please fill out an adoption application and be sure to completely fill in all fields, as our volunteer adoption coordinators will only follow up on completed applications.
Our coordinators will follow up on all the vet and personal references that you provide and then reach out to you to schedule an interview. It may take a few days as we are 100% volunteer based and our wonderful coordinators also have jobs and families. Please be patient and know that we will be in touch!
Our interviews are typically around 30 minutes in length. We will talk about your home, yard, current and past pets, kids, your schedule and what kind of dog you are looking for. If we feel the dog you applied for is not a good fit, we will suggest a different dog for you to consider.
