Adopt a Rescue Dog in Maryland
Addicus’ Legacy Dog Rescue transports rescue dogs from Texas and Mexico to the Baltimore area, making them available to adopters throughout Maryland and the greater Baltimore-Washington corridor. Our Baltimore transport stop serves one of the most adoption-active regions in the mid-Atlantic, and our foster families provide detailed profiles so you can choose your match with confidence before transport day. If you’re ready to add a rescue dog to your Maryland home, we’d love to help you find the right one.

About Addicus’ Legacy Dog Rescue
Addicus’ Legacy Dog Rescue is a 100% volunteer-run, foster-based 501(c)(3) that saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Texas and Mexico. Every dog in our program lives in a loving foster home — not a kennel — while they wait for their forever family. Our fosters give us a real picture of each dog’s personality, energy level, and the home that will suit them best. We coordinate transport runs to cities across the eastern United States and Texas.
