Whiskey (northeast only)

Whiskey is a 12- to 14-month-old Black Mouth Cur/Hound mix. Whiskey has been thru a lot in his short life and is still working on his fear of people, especially men. He needs to feel loved and secure in his environment. Once he settles in, Whiskey loves to play in the yard and can run like the wind, even on 3 legs! He does well on his own but loves to be wherever his people are.

Whiskey still has some fears he’s working on. New people and loud noises frighten him, but he’s blossoming every day. He’s a quiet soul that just wants to be loved. Will happily sleep under your desk all day at work or play with you in the yard!

Whiskey is dog friendly and cat friendly. He is also potty trained and also walks well on a leash. Whiskey is a tripod, but that doesn’t slow him down at all. He needs a home with a fenced-in yard where he can run and play. He also would do best in a home with another dog to teach him the ropes. Since Whiskey has some fears, we feel an experienced dog family would be best.

Whiskey can be adopted in the northeast.
