Smiley

Smiley is super gentle and caring. She is a 3-year-old Heeler/Shepherd Mix. She does well with other dogs and she does well with the gentle cats in her foster home. Smiley really loves getting loved on and just relaxing.

Smiley is a hero! Not only did she nurse and raise her own puppies, she also nursed other puppies who were rejected by their mom. Smiley is a caring, gentle girl who loves nothing more than snuggling up on the couch with her people. Smiley will gently tap her humans to ask for love and she will happily follow her humans wherever they go. She likes to walk, but she’s not a high energy dog. She has definitely had a tough life and is now relishing in soft furnishings and fluffy beds. Smiley would love a home where she can relax and enjoy the good life.

Smiley is crate-trained, housebroken, and she walks well on a leash. All she needs now is a home of her own and we can’t wait to find her the perfect family.

She is currently being fostered in Texas, but he is available for adoption in both Texas and the northeast.
