Shelby is a 3-year-old Lab mix weighing 59 lbs. She loves walks, and is doing well with leash walking. She is crate trained and potty trained.
Shelby is as sweet as they come. She was living under a house, raising multiple sets of puppies, and nearly starving. She has now gained weight and is healthy and sweet. She came with an eye injury that led to cherry eye. Her eye has been surgically repaired, but still has a slight cherry eye that no longer seems to bother her.
Shelby loves people. Although she hasn’t been around children, we’d expect she’d do well with kids. She also loves to play with other dogs. Her ideal family would have another dog to play with and a fenced in yard to run and play.
Shelby is currently being fostered in Texas, but she is available for adoption in both Texas and the northeast.
