Meet Rudolph, a super sweet, 15 lb beauty of a boy, who just wants to play and be loved. Our best guess for this boy’s breed is a Jack Russell/Rat Terrier mix, mostly due to his size, long legs and markings, but your guess is as good as ours! He surprisingly has super soft fur and does not shed. He is already fully grown at 1.5 years old, and not expected to get bigger.
His pretty hazel eyes and light brown nose and lips make him irresistible when he comes in for a hug or a kiss, which is often, so you better really, really love an affectionate dog! He is extremely intelligent, energetic, a little timid, and needs a life with a lot of activity. A quiet little boy, he doesn’t bark even when other dogs are barking. Rudolph is being potty trained and doing well, but he still needs some work.
He cries when you crate him, and as long as you put anything away that can be chewed, he is good left to roam the house if you need to leave for a short while. He has not had much time on a leash, so his new family will need to work on his leash training.
This playful little boy MUST have another young dog in the home to play with, as well as an adopter that has a fenced yard, and works from home or is otherwise home most of the time. When Rudolph is finished playing, he does love to snuggle up next to his people and take naps, so be ready for some snuggles. He is dog, cat and people friendly and will probably be good around young children, as he doesn’t jump and is very gentle.
Rudolph is located in Texas, but can be adopted to a family either in Texas or the Northeast.
