Clementine is a sweet little 10-year-old, 5 lb. chihuahua that’s been living a tough life. Her former family loved her but neglected her medical needs. Somehow, this sweetheart ended up wandering on the streets of Laredo, TX. Clementine had a nasty infection when her foster took her in, and it’s been a long road to recovery for her.
Clementine’s ideal home would be quiet, and loving, with at least one velcro-like human that will give her as much love and adoration as she can handle. She would love a fenced in backyard/catio for sunbathing purposes. Clementine loves to be with her person at all times, loves to be carried around and held, and sunbathes in the backyard (weather permitting).
Due to Clementine’s separation anxiety, a primarily stay at home human would be preferred. She would do best in a home without other rowdy pets. She’s a quiet and calm girl. She would be an ideal pet for a person looking for a companion who’s just happy being by your side. Because of her tiny size, we are looking for a home with children over the age of 8 for Clementine.
Clementine is newly house broken, dog friendly, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Since she has recently been house-trained, she may still need some patience and practice with good potty habits. Clementine is available for adoption in TX or the Northeast!
