My Story

Cheyenne came from an unfortunate start in life where she was housed outside with 24 other dogs, lacking the proper beginning of life most dogs have. She was rescued, along with her sister and brother and is now experiencing love, comfort, and safety and learning what life should be like with humans.

While a heeler mix, she is a beautiful mostly red fur with definite heeler markings, and seems to have other breeds in her. She is very loving, and gives great kisses. She loves to play with her brother and other dogs she meets and is learning to play fetch and bring the ball back.

Cheyenne is kennel trained and kennel potty trained. She is also almost potty trained. She is a high energy puppy, and jumps and gets excited, and needs to learn structure to gain confidence and grow into the perfect dog. An experienced dog owner that is home most of the time that has a fenced yard would be ideal. Other dogs and kids would be fine, as long as her new owner understands she needs to be taught not to jump and how to play gently. She is friendly to every dog and person she meets. She will not be a big dog! She is only 22 lbs at 6 months and will most likely top out at 30-40 lbs.

Does this sound like the perfect dog for you? Cheyenne is currently located in Texas but can be adopted in Texas or the Northeast.
