Almond

Almond is an adorable scruffy toy breed type mix weighing just 8 lbs. She’s an absolute doll! Although she can be quite timid in a new and unfamiliar environment, she quickly warms up and just wants to be part of the family.

She has perfectly integrated into her large foster pack and gets along with everyone, from 3-pound puppies to a gentle 130-lb giant. She loves kids and would make a great family dog. Almond likes to sleep in the big bed at night, and she is quite snuggly. She is working on her potty training (almost there!) and also uses potty pads sometimes.

Almond has not been observed with cats, but she is so small and gentle that we think she would be ok with nice cats.

Almond is currently being fostered in Texas, but she is available for adoption in both Texas and the northeast.
