Momo

Momo

We'd love to introduce you to Momo; a 6 year old female and 46 pounds of softness. Kept solely outdoors for her entire life before rescued by Addicus, Momo came to us underweight, fearful of being indoors and heartworm positive.
In just 3 months time Momo has learned the life of a loved dog. Her heartworm was treated, 5 of her rotting teeth pulled, mammary tumors removed and she's finally spayed! No more heats for this gal and no more weight loss since now she can chew with no pain!
Momo doesn't require much from her new home. She'd love a yard because after all of these years of being left outdoors, the sunshine is still her bestfriend, she is happy to take a leashed walk and she is sooooo good with meeting new people.
This pup has a penchant for chasing cats, squirrels and even deer. We ask that she goes to a cat free home but dogs are absolutely okay in her book.
Momo is not a jumper. Your fence could be 3 feet high and that will suffice, she doesn't chew and she doesn't require a lot of exercise. Momo is what we dog people like to call "chill" and may not be familiar with sleeping on your couch but will settle in for a Netflix movie in her bed by your feet.
Momo would serve a family well with children over 8 (or no children). She prefers to not be crated or go for car rides and if you happen to be missing a sock, Momo will find it. She's the opitomy of low maintenance and so well mannered inside the home - even housetrained!
Imagine the stories she could tell? Imagine the stories you could make for her? Don't let her past or age slow you down, Momo will prove to you that her second chance around made her only better.
Momo is available in TX only.
