Ayla was found alone, tied up outside a vet clinic. This tiny lady is only 18 pounds, believed to be a rat terrier/basenji mix, and is a gentle, sweet & friendly lady about 3 years young. From what our rescue could determine, it's believed her previous owner passed away and she is desperately looking to live out the rest of her adventure with another family she can call her own!

She loves snuggles and insists on sleeping in bed with her foster Mom. She’s not a huge fan of toys, yet, but won’t turn down a good chew. Ayla is friendly & wants to be the popular girl, gets along great with other dogs (but would prefer to be the only dog in the household) and has no problem around cats. This little showoff is crate trained and house trained, but will let you know when she is ready to go out! Her perfect family will be patient, understanding she's already been through so much in her short life, and will give her stability. She thrives on routine...  AND belly rubs! Aylas perfect family will be a very active one, looking to give her tons of excersie including running, walking, hiking & plenty of enrichment toys to keep her high energy focused on healthy behaviors and stimulate her!

Ayla is available for adoption in TX and the Northeast.
